Wedding Vendor Review #3 - Cramer Bakery

This is my third wedding vendor review and it is for the bakery we used - Cramer Bakery!

Cramer Bakery
16 E Afton Ave
Yardley, PA 19067
Telephone (215) 493-2760

Cramer's Bakery made the entire cake-buying experience a breeze! I simply walked in there one afternoon, took a look at the book of designs they had, and told them I'd be back with some photographs of cake designs of my own. The lady who helped me was very friendly and open-minded. It also helped that the prices were very reasonable and they could deliver to the winery!

On my second trip back to the bakery, I brought several pictures of what I had in mind for our two-tier wedding cake. The woman who helped me talked directly to the bakers to make sure they could do it and even informed me they would do the extra top section for free! We made arrangements for delivery of the cake, I gave them a check for payment, and voila! It was that easy!

This is our wedding cake which went perfectly with our Autumn theme...and it was delicious too!

I would definitely recommend Cramer Bakery for your wedding cake needs.

Wedding Vendor Review #2 - Gary Guth - Bagpiper

This is my second wedding vendor review and it is for our bagpiper, Gary Guth!

Gary Guth
Telephone: (215) 968-9542 / Email: gary@bagpipeband.com

Gary was a wonderful addition to our wedding day.  The music was phenomenal, his ensemble was authentic, and everyone really enjoyed having the Scottish bagpipes played at our ceremony...including us!

I began my coordination with Gary by emailing him to find out his price and to see if he was available to play at our wedding on November 1st.  Gary responded in a very timely manner and was extremely patient while he waited for our final decision.  We were so happy he was still available when we were absolutely sure we wanted to added this element to our special day!

The arrangement was such that he would arrive about a 1/2 hour before the ceremony official started and would play a selection of music while the guests arrived at the church.  He would also come into the church and get us from up at the altar after we the ceremony was over and would escort us down the aisle, while playing "Murdo's Wedding".  And lastly, he would play another selection of songs while we greeted our guests in the receiving line.

Gary was fantastic!  We were absolutely thrilled and our guests loved the special touch just as much as we did!  Thanks Gary!

Wedding Vendor Review #1 - Newtown Floral Company

I would start off my blog with reviews of the vendors I used for my wedding on November 1, 2008! This is the first in a series of....hmmm, we'll just have to see how many I guess.

Newtown Floral Company
17 Cambridge Lane, Newtown, Pennsylvania
Telephone: 215-968-955
Website: http://newtownfloral.com

About a month before my wedding, I decided to visit the Newtown Floral Companyin Newtown, Pennsylvania to see what services and products they had to offer. They are located at at in a small shopping center made up of little offices.

When I entered the establishment, I was promptly greeted by the owner of the company who did a fantastic job of asking me just what I was looking for, what the occasion was, what date I would need the flowers by, etc. It was a very pleasant conversation and she seemed very knowledgeable in her profession.

I finally settled on a combination of white, red and orange roses for my bouquet - red and orange roses for my mother (who was the Matron of Honor in my wedding), red roses for my future mother-in-law, a white rose for my fiancee and red roses for my father, stepfather, and future father-in-law (who was my fiance's Best Man).

The customer service was wonderful, the flowers were absolutely beautiful and the price was right! I would highly recommend the Newtown Floral Company for all of your floral needs. I know I will be going back again!
